Diving Okaparu Reef
Submitted by Andrew on May 24, 2010 - 7:43pmAwesome day on Okaparu reef. Sunday 23rd Capt Gravey,Mike,John,Toni & myself set off out of Tauranga Harbour heading Okaparu reef, NW Motiti island for a couple of scenic dives. As always the reef put it on for us, marine life all over it! Monster King-fish lurking around out the back and eagle-rays gliding threw gullies effortlessly as the strong surge pushes you threw to another page and helps assist with max bottom time.
Typography of 5-40 meters swim through's like cathedral's, rock faces and ledges loaded with life and a cheeky old Moray around every corner.
